Resilience includes a sense of self-efficacy and the ability to problem solve and give and receive social support.
Resilient teams can not only better deal with workplace stressors and traumatic incidents, they also are more productive and engaged. In the workplace we don’t want to become therapists or engage in group hugs. Rock climbing can be fun, but it doesn’t necessarily change behaviour in the workplace.
The activities that you will experience in this session are work appropriate and build skills for resiliency. They were created for any leader to be able to facilitate and you can take them back to your own workplace to use with your teams.
